Sofia is playing on the fence, tip toeing across.
A Boy with a paperbag on his head walks across the pavement and stops, he has something in his hand; A Kite.
She notices him, and jumps down. She tries to get his attention by waving her hand in front of her face.
The boy does nothing, but thrust his the kite forward and makes a small HMM nose.
Sofia is confused.
Again the boy says, with more force this time, "HMM!"
Sofia realises he wants her to take it, and she does, albeit a little confused.
Basically the boy keeps coming up to her again each day bringing her a kite, on the 7th day she expects a kite but the boy hasnt come. Sad...she looks up and notices a kite in the sky. Her face brightens up and she heads towards it.
Dusk approaches, and she reaches where the kite is, in the distance she notices a silhoutte of the boy with a paperbag on his head, and another girl...she becomes sad, and disappointed, walks back to the fence.
She is sat down with her back to the street where the boy usually comes from and sad. Suddenly the boy runs off, huffing and panting, kite in hand. Just like always he gestures; HMM!
Sofia shakes her head. The boy gestures again; HMM!
Again sofia shakes her head more vigorously.
The boy gives one final HMM!!!
This time Sofia chucks a crayon angrily and the boys head drops and he walks off, rejected.
Soon Sofia decides to go home, she walks off scene and we see her walking across the same area where the silhouttes are, she also walks past a bench which the boy is sat on.
The silhouttes are still there...but so is the boy, on the bench?!
She double backs on herself and looks more closely at the silhouttes, which turns out to be ANOTHER boy with a paperbag on his head (a grey one no less) and the other girl. She looks at the boy on the bench (the bench is facing away from her) and panics. We see her run off and hear the "cha-ching!" of a cash register. She runs back on with something in her hand.
She taps the boy on the shoulder and he looks towards her.
HMM! She says, thrusting the kite in her hand towards him. The boy takes the kite, and we see the two walking off in the sunset, kite in hand.
